Law enforcement cadets attending police academies all across the nation learn “The Law Enforcement Code of Ethics” — Often by heart. This weekend we ask that you reflect on the above code of ethics and the dictionary definition of the word “corruption”. As you read articles on DCSO Follies, please think about both, then draw your own conclusions.

We close by saying you should rest assured that the vast majority of the good folks at Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office take “The Law Enforcement Code of Ethics” and their oath of office to heart. They live both day to day, week to week, month to month, and year to year. To them we say thank you for your dedication, your commitment and your service to us all.
